The Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection offers education in 9 study programmes:

Engineering / master's engineering studies

Students acquire knowledge and skills in the acquisition and use of natural energy sources, including wind, water, solar and geothermal energy.

Engineering / master's engineering studies

Students in this programme are prepared to design and carry out geophysical surveys, search for deposits of ores, minerals, crude oil and gas, assess natural and human-induced hazards, and recognise the geological structure of the Earth.

Engineering / master's engineering studies

Students acquire knowledge of modern geoinformation technologies, Earth sciences, acquisition, analysis, visualisation and modelling of spatial and environmental data, as well as current IT trends and technologies.

Engineering / master's engineering studies

Students in this programme are prepared to work in the geological, construction and mining industries. They acquire competences in conducting prospecting, exploration and documentation work for solid, liquid and gaseous mineral deposits, as well as in solving complex, interdisciplinary engineering problems.

Master's engineering studies

This programme prepares specialists dealing with urbanised areas who understand the potential and limitations of the geoenvironment, especially its resources.

Engineering studies

The advantage of this programme is the acquisition of specialist IT knowledge and practical skills in data processing, analysis and visualisation, data transmission and storage in databases, as well as, among others, project management.

Engineering / master's engineering studies

Students in this programme are prepared to solve problems related, among others, to environmental management and protection, water management, water supply, water protection, environmental monitoring, ecological and renewable energy sources, environmental geotechnics and waste management.

Bachelor's studies

This is a modern bachelor's degree programme conducted entirely in English over 6 semesters. Students are prepared to work in the raw materials sector, from prospecting and exploration of deposits, through extraction, to consulting and administration. The knowledge acquired and solidly grounded, enriched with elements of practical application, will provide a strong foundation for continuing education at second-cycle level and/or starting a professional career in Poland and abroad.

Bachelor's / master's studies
